JOB OFFERING
We are looking for a Data Architect – if you are passionate about modern data software architectures, know Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Lakes and Lake House (Delta), and if you are looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your career, we encourage you to apply for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design or re-design software architectures around data – from a “classic” like Data Warehouses or Business Intelligence, over the Data Lake approach up to modern open architecture like Lake House (Data Bricks).
- Work on functional and non-functional requirements, help to shape them into a deliverable form, structure in Backlog and help to plan implementation scenarios.
- Scope and prepare POC for new topics around data.
- Design process and data-flow diagrams, integration templates, reporting and analytics models.
- Conduct complex analysis of problems and issues from the area of performance, cost optimisation and data freshness.
- Design and help to conduct migration-like projects (on-prem to cloud)
- Implement project best practices and technics allowing for fast and high-quality delivery (like CI/CD).
- Help and coordinate work in projects using agile-based approaches.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as Data Architect / Data Solution Architect
- Experience in Data warehouse / Business intelligence methodology and architecture design
- Knowledge of modern data software architectures
- Experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT and data integration
- Experience in Azure Data service portfolio (i.e., Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI)
- Problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good communication skills in English (B2 level)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the Lake House (Data Bricks) architecture design principles and/or project experience
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with AWS and/or GCP
- Knowledge and experience of the Snowflake

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for creation, development and management of processes for data transformation and integration with use of Azure stack (Data Factory, ASQL and Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks). Data Engineer will also work on monitoring, process analysis, performance tuning and cost optimization for new and existing solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business analysts, testers and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of various IT projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation, configuration, implementation and integration of Data Lakes, Data Warehouse or Lake House solutions with use of Azure technologies (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks)
- Data processing and transformation of large datasets
- Designing and implementing data pipelines, data models and data integration solutions
- Performance tuning and cost optimization
- Building ELT and ETL processes
- Collecting and monitoring performance metrics, tuning performance of processes
- Identifying ways of improving the data quality and efficiency
- Refactoring code for currently existing solutions
- Proposing solution architecture based on cloud solutions
- Partnering with BI teams to define the best approach around data ingestion and data structures
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Experience in Microsoft Azure Data ecosystem (i.e. Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL and Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks)
- Experience with data modelling and data integration
- Knowledge in SQL (T-SQL or any other)
- Problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Azure DevOps experience (Repos, Pipelines)
- Good command of both written and spoken English (B2 level)
Nice to have:
- Experience in Python or Scala programming
